Five Bingeworthy Shows Streaming Right Now

Is it just us, or do you watch every episode of a new show as soon as it’s available and then regret finishing it within three days because now you have nothing to watch for the next month, too?

We spend *literal* hours on Netflix and HBO Max searching for the perfect shows to go with our wine and takeout, just to end the night rewatching “How to Get Away with Murder” for the 5th time.

Did we just describe your weekend plans? Don’t worry, we got you, Girl!

Honestly, we’re not going to quit binge-watching and we know you’re probably not going to either. So we’re offering you what every girl needs: options.

Here are five shows that made us reconsider ending our streaming subscriptions, all available RIGHT NOW!

Abbott Elementary

Created by: Quinta Brunson

The teachers at Abbott Elementary go above and beyond for their students, despite underfunding and an outrageous principal.

It’s mockumentary style (think “The Office”), with side interviews and awkward camera looks. Quinta Brunson gives us a comedic insight into the lives of educators working in poor conditions, who still manage to make things happen and defeat the odds.

Ozark, Season 4 Part I

Created by: Bill Dubuque

After a riveting season three finale, we couldn’t wait for Ozark to return to our screens. In the pilot episode, it seems that a failing marriage is the worst of Marty Bryde’s problems. But we soon come to find out, it’s the least of them. Are the Bydres close to getting out or is their only escape the ultimate end?

For those who aren’t already fans of the show, Marty Byrde is a financial planner who is forced to start a new life with his family in the Ozarks after his business partner’s money laundering job for a Mexican drug cartel goes south. To keep everyone in his family alive, Marty must repay a large debt – that’s not his. Things are pretty much downhill from there.

Euphoria, Season 2

Created by: Sam Levinson

Rue and Jules, and the kids of East Highland High School, are back for another season! They’re throwing more Project-X-type parties that start with booze and end with brawls. We’re only a few episodes in, but this season already has us on edge.

For those who aren’t already fans of the show, it follows Rue, a 17-year-old drug addict recently released from rehab. Despite almost dying, she has zero plans of staying clean. Surrounding her are Jules, Maddy, Nate, Cassie, and Kat – who face difficulties of their own. These characters are navigating something we all can relate to – coming of age, but they’re doing it in a world of drugs, sex, and violence.

The show will have you in a rollercoaster of emotions, and there are some tough scenes that may be triggering for some. Prioritize your mental health and take a break if it becomes difficult to watch.
